Party Hard, Work Hard!

I haven't partied and worked so hard as I have this past weekend in a very long time.

Last week it was all about finishing projects, papers and presentations, as the end of the Semester is approaching. I was so caught up with work that I only unpacked my things from the previous week 4 days after my arrival in Budapest. Whooops! But on Thursday night all was done and the party could begin. At first I went to a pre-party at a friend's house, where I met a really nice Austrian girl who has her best friend in Canada (!). Funny thing about it is: the friend's dad went to an agricultural college in Austria with my dad, and is still a close friend of our family. Pretty cool!

In any case, the party then moved to our university, where there were dancefloors on two floors - it was one of the biggest parties I've been to in a long time. Accordingly, I only went home when the skies changed from black to blue ;). This was a bad idea.. very bad! Because on the following day, 5 of my guyfriends from Austria and my boyfriend came to visit me. For them,t he weekend consisted of sightseeing and partying, so it was tough times again, although I didn't join their sightseeing and stayed at home to do some work.

Still, the weekend was one of my best weekends in a long time! We had great fun and enjoyed the coziness of my room (their matrasses and sleeping bags covered my whole floor!!). At this point, I'd like to say 'thanks' to all of my guys for coming and I hope to have you at my place again once I'm in my next town - Vienna!!
