My Dad was here!

Last weekend my dad and a friend of our family rather spontaneously came to Germany and Austria! The reason for this nice visit was the inauguration of a chapel, in memory of our village's fight against the construction of a highway.

After I picked them up from the airport on Friday, the both of them immediately checked out the Oktoberfest, while I sat through my strategy class. :) My dad did me the greatest favour ever, when he let me drive on the Autobahn - the first time driving a car since July 25th!!!

The weekend was short and sweet. The chapel's ceremony on Saturday, where I met all of my former neighbours and was bombarded with 100000 questions about my life in Canada, and now Munich; Supper at a friend of our family; party with my highschool friends; lunch at a beautiful restaurant; seeing my grandparents; and back to Munich.

It was fun! :)
