Two Weeks and a Few News!
News #1: Is no news.. we are still working on our apartment. Our furniture now includes a closet for our bedroom and a small wardrobe for the entrance hall. We have ordered a bed (to arrive in January), a couch (to arrive in December) and an extension to our kitchen (arrives on January 24th). Other purchases include lights and Christmas decoration. Slowly, an end to our numerous purchases is approaching! I can't wait to spend a weekend without furniture stores :).
News #2: I have found a place to write my Master's thesis - in Linz, not too far from where I now live. The company's name is oö.erdgas and my topic will be related to customer acquisition and retention in the gas market. I do have to thank a close relative though for helping me to get a first step into that company!!
News #3: We finally experienced some culture a week ago, when we went to a brass concert in Windischgarsten, a small village in the mountains. The artists all play at philharmonics and symphonic orchestras in Europa and their music (though it sometimes made fun of music) was extremely sophisticated and fun! Our other 'cultural' experience last weekend was that we saw Casino Royale - also fun, but by far not as sophisticated!
News #4: I am currently participating in a competition (hosted by Apple) and have proceeded to the second round of it! Tomorrow I will receive an Apple computer to prepare a presentation for the management team of Apple. The winner of the competition will be able to make an internship at Apple for ten weeks!! To be honest though, I'd much rather have the Apple computer as first price ;).
So.. overall, life is going pretty well at the moment! :)

Up on Pöstlingberg Mountain, we enjoyed the view of Linz, our new hometown. The weather was nice for roundabout 30 Minutes during which we managed to go for a little walk up on the mountain. When we wanted to go for coffee at the castle-cafe down in Linz, however, the rain caught us pretty badly. And since we left the umbrella at home, I looked like fresh out of the shower, when we arrived. The cafe's owner came running with a towel to dry my hair, which I thought was really nice!
More News from our Moving Weekends
Finally more furniture is arriving :). We received our dinner-table and chairs, and put in Clemens' piano this weekend. Though we will have to wait for our couch until appr. Christmas, the dining/living room is already our favourite room in the apartment.
Also this weekend, we managed to find a consensus on our bed-tastes and purchased a beautiful bed. Only drawback: It'll arrive in January only.
