Whoops!
So I was mowing the lawn today. It wasn't easy, as this picture shows ;). My brother and sister both helped me to get out of that darned ditch again!

Week 1 of 3 in Canada
My first week back home is almost over! I'm amazed - three weeks from today, I will fly back to Europe, to my other home.
Sitting in my old room, it sometimes feels as if I had never even left. The other day, I was getting dressed and instinctively walking towards the cupboard, where I used to store my socks.. When I couldn't find them, I remembered, that I put them somewhere completely different. It strikes me that habits don't go away easily.
This week I spent at a fairly low pace. I would write some long-overdue e-mails, meet Mary and her girlfriends for coffee, go shopping with my parents and spend looong hours at the pool, reading a good book. This is, what I call a good vacation!
But now I'll slowly get started at preparing everything for Clemens' arrival on Monday. Get my room in order (I lived in my old chaos for one week - that's enough! Now it must get clean again)... With that in mind, I'll get right to work!

Coming Home..
365 days ago, my future inEurope began. Exactly a year ago, I boarded a plane, not knowing where I would spend my next few years: Switzerland? Northern Germany? Bavaria? Or would I come back? My path took me to places I would have never even dreamed about, I met many people from all over the world, I learned things, I never expected to learn about. And now I am finally back in Canada.
Holidays at home!
Leading up to my Canada vacation, I had a wonderful last week in Vienna and enjoyed every moment with my collegues. Though moving out from my apartment and packing for Canada at the same time was quite stressful. But here I am now, getting all settled in and starting to feel at home again. Let's see what the next three weeks will bring...

Preparing for Canada
As the days go by, our vacation in Canada is coming closer and closer. Yay!!! I can't wait to see everyone again and show Clemens where I spent eight years of my life. But until then I still have lots of projects at work going on and want to take out the motorcyle at least once more! :)
We went for another ride last weekend on Sunday and drove around the area, up and down some mountain passes. The tight roads inbetween small creeks and mountains are wonderful. Indeed one experiences the world differently on a motorbike than on a car.
Apart from that - nothing is new, but the countdown is running: 17 days until I leave!! Wohooo!
